With the 2016 UEFA Futsal championships coming to a close on Saturday in Serbia following a hugely entertaining tournament, Coerver® Coaching is gearing up to launch a new training curriculum developed specifically for the game.

The new “Coerver®: Perfect for Futsal curriculum” has received support from three of the World’s leading Futsal players including Spain and Inter Moviestar captain Carlos Ortiz, Portuguese International and current World Futsal player of the year, Ricardinho and former Argentina captain, Mathias Lucuix (see image with Coerver® Spain Directors, Rodrigo Castro & Ramiro Montesinos).

The fast paced, small sided game which is played with a weighted ball, originated in South America in 1930 and now has an estimated 12 million people playing in over 100 countries with Spain, who won the tournament in Serbia, currently being the number one ranked national team in the World.

The new Coerver® Futsal curriculum will be launched at a clinic in Madrid which will be delivered by Coerver® Co-founder Alf Galustian, full details to be confirmed.

Coerver® Coaching Scotland & Portugal Director Gordon Craig returned to the SFA yesterday as a guest presenter, as 30 plus coaches chase their Advanced Childrens Licence they learned a little about the Coerver® DNA and our method and giving them some insight into our system.

After a record breaking 2015, Coerver Coaching Scotland staff meet over the weekend for Staff Training Update at the Hibernian FC Training Centre in preparation for 2016.

The training included a mixture of theory and practical sessions updating on the Global Coerver Player Development System.

Coerver® Coaching are delighted to announce that the NEW Coerver® Coaching Youth Diploma 2 course will be taking place during November 2015 in Glasgow Scotland, in association with our global partner adidas® and our presenting partner FourFourTwo Performance at the training complex of Coerver® Partner Club Rangers FC. This is only the second Youth Diploma 2 course to take place globally.

The Coerver® Coaching Youth Diploma 2 has been developed from over 31 years of knowledge and work with the leading federations, clubs, managers and star names in International Football.

Youth Diploma 2 Course Overview

The Coerver® Coaching Youth Diploma 2 course expands on the knowledge gained from the Youth Diploma 1 course with a focus on how to develop a team style through individual and small group skills teaching both in and out of possession.

The Coerver ® Coaching Youth Diploma 2 is a 2-day course that has been broken down into 4 modules that will be presented through lecture presentations & practical demonstrations:

Youth Diploma 2 Course Instructor

Alfred Galustian started his soccer career as a young player for Wimbledon. He is the Co-Founder and International Director of Coerver® Coaching, and has been largely responsible for building the program Globally.

To date Alfred has worked as a Coach Instructor with 17 national federations including the French, English, Japanese and Australian.

Alfred has also worked with over 50 top professional clubs including Bayern Munich FC, Manchester City FC, Real Madrid CF, Olympique Marseille, Arsenal FC and AC Milan.

During the 2010/11 Season Alfred was the Specialist Skills Coaching Advisor to the Premier League.
Alf was appointed Specialist Skills Advisor to the Premier LeagueTM during the 2010/11 season, assigned to help develop the next generation of Elite football coaches in this country, further endorsing his reputation for expertise in technical skills teaching.

Over 30 coaches attended our first ever Youth Diploma at SL Benfica with Benfica Staff and local coaches taking in what was a great 3 day event. Was also great for the Elite International Program players to take part as runners for the event. Dates to follow on our next Diploma at the club .
