First Skills serves as the foundational phase of the Coerver® Coaching system, developing essential coordination and a lifelong love of the game.
Ball Mastery & 1v1 Moves
Fun exercises and basic footwork to get comfortable with both feet, learning simple changes of direction and creative moves.
Reaction Speed & Agility
Developing mental reaction speed, acceleration, balance, and physical coordination through engaging movement games.
Shooting & Striking
Proper kicking technique for power and accuracy, giving young players the joy and confidence of scoring goals.
Small-Sided Games (2v2 / 3v3)
High-touch game formats designed to maximize touches on the ball and ensure every child is constantly involved.
Learning & Social Focus
Building listening skills, concentration, confidence, teamwork, and respect in a supportive environment.

First Skills Programme Details
38 weekly coaching sessions held during school term time at Strikers Indoor Football Aberdeen.
