Following on from the first two Coerver® Coaching Play Like The Stars 1 v 1 Coach Education courses at Birmingham City FC and Sheffield Wednesday FC, two further courses have been completed at Millwall FC and Stoke City FC (see below images).
This rounds off a fantastic series of coach education courses, with over 160 coaches from all levels of the game attending four venues across the country during November 2014.
Attending coaches have been tutored by Coerver® UK director Scott Wright who delivered the full day courses and said “We always enjoy getting up and down the country to deliver our coach education courses and this series of 1 v 1 specific courses has been a huge success for us. We have received tremendous feedback from attendees who have come from grassroots to professional levels of the game and also a wide range of age groups that they work with”.

One thing is for sure, and that is the topics of 1 v 1 and ball mastery skills teaching are essential at every level and age group and with there being little to no focus on either of these topics in any of the national or UEFA licensed courses, we are definitely providing knowledge in vital areas of the game where there is a gap in the coach education system”.
