IN FEBRUARY 2016, COERVER® COACHING SIGNED A YOUTH  FOOTBALL GLOBAL PARTNER AGREEMENT WITH SL BENFICA, ONE OF  THE WORLD’S MOST ADMIRED AND SUCCESSFUL PROFESSIONAL  CLUBS. THROUGH THIS PARTNERSHIP, SELECTED COERVER® PLAYERS  HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO BE FULLY INTEGRATED INTO THE BENFICA  ACADEMY FOR 1MONTH ELITE PLAYER TRAINING PROGRAMS.  COERVER® COACHING WILL ALSO COLLABORATE WITH BENFICA ON  PROJECTS TO IMPROVE THE FOOTBALL EXPERIENCE OF YOUNG  PLAYERS WORLDWIDE.

ON A DAILY BASIS THE PLAYERS GET THE FULL BENFICA ACADEMY  EXPERIENCE AND PLAY UP TO 8 MATCHES AGAINST TOP-CLASS  OPPONENTS. THE PLAYERS ARE HANDLED EVERYDAY BY THE CLUBS  ACADEMY COACHES AND THE BENFICA LAB TO HELP PROVIDE A  TRUE GAUGE OF WHERE THEY ARE IN THEIR DEVELOPMENT.

THE INTERNATIONAL ELITE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM PROVIDES UP TO 20 ELITE-LEVEL PLAYERS PER SQUAD, AGES  12-17 , FROM AROUND THE WORLD THE UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY TO BE TOTALLY IMMERSED IN THE WORLD-RENOWN BENFI-  CA ACADEMY PROGRAM; WITH FULL PLAYER SUPERVISION FROM ARRIVAL TO DEPARTURE. January saw the first ever Coerver® Winter Performance Academy in Scotland, taking place over 3 weekends at the National Performance Centre at Oriam Edinburgh.

90 players age 7-14 from across the country, representing
24 grassroots clubs and 11 professional clubs came together
to give their game the Skilful Edge.

We were delighted to bring players access to the  
world class facilities at Oriam in Edinburgh. Oriam is
the home to all the Scotland National Football Teams
as well as the national teams/players of other sports
including Rugby, Basketball, Handball and Squash.
Training took place in the Indoor Pitch, the biggest of
its kind in Europe.

Sessions delivered by our Coerver® Coaches focused on developing all players Core Skills, helping players to develop their confidence and game effective use of skills to benefit the team.

Coerver® Scotland Technical Director Joe Jones said “Our Performance Academy programme provides a great opportunity for players to develop their game, they come to us to give them the focus on developing their technical skills through our weekly academies and holiday camp programmes”.

we are delighted to have so many high levels players

level shown by the players in terms of attitude,
desire to improve and their level of player was
absolutely outstanding. It was great to see such
confidence in the players and players willing to
take risks”.
